Don is one of the world’s leading authorities on innovation, media, and the economic and social impact of technology. He has authored or co-authored 15 widely read books including Paradigm Shift, The Digital Economy and Growing Up Digital. In 2007 he co-authored Wikinomics which became best selling management book in the US for the entire year and translated into over 25 languages. His most recent book is BLOCKCHAIN REVOLUTION: How the Underlying Technology of Bitcoin is Changing Money, Business, and the World.
In 2012, Don opened TED Global and his talk, 4 Principles for the Open World, has since been viewed more than one million times. His second TED Talk was Posted August 25, 2016 – the first ever TED Talk about blockchain. In November of 2015, Don was listed as the 4th most influential living management thinkers by Thinkers50.
Don is a Member of the Order of Canada, an Adjunct Professor of Management at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, a Martin Prosperity Institute Fellow, and last week was named to a second 3 year term as Chancellor of Trent University.
It is hard to imagine anyone who has been more prolific, profound and influential in explaining the digital revolution and it’s impact on the world.
